Heike holds a PhD (Dr. phil.) in Psycholinguistcs / German as a Foreign Language. She is an experienced language teacher with over 38 years of experience in teaching the German Language at all levels to various lerners.
She was an associate professor for German Philology in Denmark at Copenhagen University, a lecturer in the German Studies programme at University of Nairobi in Kenya, and a lecturer at the German Unit in the University of Education in Winneba, Ghana. She lives in Ghana since 2007.
Since 1985 she is a permant lecturer at the Language Center of Humboldt University Berlin, Germany. She successfully teaches German as a foreign language to international tertiary students, using digital and online rescources as well as textbooks and other recources.
